Volvo Marine Super Charger Compressor for a Volvo Penta KAD 44 Diesel Engine.

Description

Hard to find Volvo Marine Super Charger Compressor part # 3581061 for a Volvo Penta KAD 44 Diesel Engine. This part came off a KAD 44 engine installed on my 30' Pursuit Offshore Boat. I had an engine issue coming out of the hole, the boat was one month old. A certified Volvo technician came on the boat and diagnosed the problem as a compressor failure. He installed a new compressor for a price of ,132.52. A week later I had the same problem with the engine and contacted Volvo Penta directly they recommended that I call C and B Marine Diesel LLC out of Brick New Jersey.
The owner of the company came out diagnosed the problem as as faulty relay, he replaced the relay and all was fine and remained fine until I sold the boat 10 years later.
Their were no problems with the original compressor, which is the compressor that I am selling. I got the compressor back from the original service company who put back
in the original box on
to their parts stocking shelf for sale. The compressor check out by C and B who confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the compressor, I kept it for a spare. Sold my beloved Pursuit Offshore and have no need for the spare compressor. The compressor is perfect in everyway.
