Rare wooden hand carved and painted brooch by artist " Ray James Hanuse Kwakiutl ( 1943 - 2007 ) . This piece is marked on the back Roy J. Hanuse  Owikeeno  1971.  It measures approx. 2.84" by 2.71".  This brooch is in wonderful condition for its age of 49 years.
