    Description

Up for sale is an Unusual Early Antique Native American Canadian Cree Heavily Flowered Beaded Wool and Fabric Boots. Amazing detailed beadwork in beautiful floral patterns highlight the hand craftsmanship of the thick wool boots.  The boots measure 12 1/2" tall by 10" long on the bottom (sole).  The boots clearly show some good age, probably circa early 1900's or possibly later, but are in very good condition aside from the defects noted above which include some wear to sole from use, a small hole as shown in closeup photo where it looks like a moth ate an eraser sized hole in the wool, signifigant loss to the inner top bands of boots, dust and minor staining throughout.  Overall very good condition but sold as is so please ask any questions prior to offers.
Extraordinary detail work and skill displayed for an incredible one of a kind piece of cultural artwork that is museum quality.  Recently acquired from high end private collectors estate which included many museum deaccession pieces, it is one of a hand full of very rare and documented museum quality Native American items we will offer for sale on ebay in the upcoming weeks.  Please see our other listings for those items including False Face Masks (tribally registered), Pacific Northwest, American Eskimo (wolf), and a very special large Iroquois Corn Husk Mask.
