The
back of the bird is a lid
and lifts up to reveal a small storage area in the body of the wood stork.

The stork is 4 1/4 inches tall and it is signed on the inside of the lid (the stork's back).
It is in excellent vintage condition.
The beak has a good point and has not been damaged.
There is a barely visible chip out of the back that has been put glued back in place. Please see the pictures.
This is a gem of a Pacific Northwest Coast wood carving!
