    For sale is a Northwest Coast Eagle rattle.
    Eagle is one of the most important beings in NWC culture and Eagle clan families the most prominent and Eagle chiefs the most powerful. Eagle spirits are associated with lofty ideals & the pursuit
    of freedom.
    Rattles are one on the main percussive instruments used by Shamans in their rituals.
    This rattle is made from cedar, paint, cord, leather, and deer hooves
    This unique rattle has cord which wraps around below the eagle head, holding 4 wings, and hooves held on by leather over the handle.
    It is signed “Hand Raddle Roger L. Charlie 2012”. The length is 11" and this unusual rattle is in very good condition.
    Roger Charlie is a Coast Salish artist from a very prominent Northwest Coast family.
    His father was the Master Carver Simon Charlie who received the Order of Canada in 2003 for his contribution to maintaining and perpetuating Northwest art and culture in the mid to latter 20
