    Proudly presented today is this gorgeous Kwakiutl cedar face mask, carved by John Henry Hunt. It depicts Komokwa, the Chief of the Undersea World. It dates from around 2000, and is in absolutely perfect condition. It measures 8 by 11 inches, not counting the foliage. It has a sense of brooding monumentality that is just breathtaking, and it would look great in any Northwest Coast collection.
