    GENUINE 1977 Haida Gwaii Medicine/Dance Gourd Rattle Of TWIN BEARS “Huajan” READ.
    I purchased this rattle from a charitable auction in Washington State in 2005. The gourd rattle is an authentic cultural piece made in Haida Gwaii in 1977. It has Symbolic painting in Red Green and Black as many pieces from the Haida culture does. It came with a hand written sheet if instructions for use and care from the maker. The rattle is in excellent as found condition. At the bottom of the instructions it says” XAADA -TWIN BEARS “Huajan” 1977. The person who gets this will also receive the original hand written instructions from the maker. They were laminated by someone before I received them. This is a really unique item to place in your Haida collection. I am a retired collector who is downsizing in anticipation of a smaller space. Condition is used. Shipped with USPS First Class.
