    Description

    Offering a Canadian Inuit carved stone kneeling female figure with attached caribou fur coiffure for hair, executed in the minimal modernist style of famed carvers such as John Tiktak and John Kavik of Rankin Inlet /
    Kangiqliniq, no artist’s disc number or signature evident in either English or Inuktitut syllabics, dimensions 2.5 x 1.5 x 6 inches (6 x 3.7 x 15.2 cm); condition: overall in very good condition, the stone with some minor variegation to the patina, a darker stain to one side from a removed sticker, evidence of insect grazing to the fur with some small spots of fur separating from the hide with accompanying loose hair; please refer to photos for additional details including weight.
